European RCCL cruise from Barcelona without Civic boosters, only original shots, what are the issues?

We have a October 30th sailing from Barcelona, and will present our card for the first two shots only.  We both had Omicron, have antibodies, and don't want the boosters .  Royal's policy seems confusing, what is actually going to happen?

There may be ports where you are not allowed to disembark

or you may be required to test but personally I would not go ashore rather than subject myself to midweek testing on the ship

These standards apply to all guests age 12 and up (or 6 and up for Italy stops). Those who do not meet these standards will require additional testing onboard prior to going ashore in certain ports.

Also, if you are not up to date you will have to take a test prior to disembarking at your expense

Prior to Disembarking
Guests 12 and up that are not up-to-date with their vaccinations will take an antigen test within one day before disembarkation day. Guests will be notified onboard about how to register for this test. The cost of the test is at their own expense, conducted onboard by a licensed third-party testing provider at a cost of $55 USD per test. Royal Caribbean does not retain any part of the testing costs.

If you don't like what the outcomes are as above the good news is that you can get your booster up to the day before your trip.

If your vaccination was more than 9 months ago, you can get a booster with an EMA-authorized vaccine as late as the day before your trip, and be considered up to date by all countries.

You may also have to test to enter Spain if don’t have a booster.

Who knows. Things change from day to day even hour to hour. Relax, wait until you get specific details for your actual cruise then just comply with the regulations. Anything else is just pure speculation.
