outdoor movies on Joy

My sister went on Princess cruise recently and said some nights they had outdoor movies on the pool deck screen,  does NCL do that as well.

The larger ships do have movies in warm climates.

On all the Caribbean/European/Australian cruises I have been on they do...but of course it was good weather...not sure about the colder climate cruises.

They have indoor movies in the colder climates.  Sometimes in the atrium, sometimes in the main theatre.

On the Joy Feb 2022, movies shown up by the pool. It was so nice. Sat in one of the recliners and enjoyed.

The movies shown on Joy (or any NCL ship) do not compare to princesses movies under the stars.  At least pre-Covid Princess had a really nice set-up for movies and played newer releases.  With NCL it is more of an afterthought.

We were on the Joy in Feb.2022 and I remember watching one movie at night on the pool deck. Crew brought us 🍿.

I was on the Bliss last week and they had a few movies poolside and some in the atrium. We were out on the pool deck on Sunday afternoon when it was cold and foggy bundled up in sweats, hoodies, and blankets to watch a movie. It was fun! The towel stand would check out blankets for the movie - they wrote down your room number and checked them back in when you were done.
