I have never had to change cabins on a B2B.   Get off the ship, yes (a moot point, since it was another port-of-call to us).   Change cabins, no.

You had the same cabin booked for your B2B.  Some people are not able to book the same cabin so have to move to another cabin for the next cruise.

It becomes a real problem when the cabin your moving into have people who like to stay there until the last minute. The cabin steward can't get his job done soon enough so you can move your stuff before you have to leave the ship for a immigrations check.

The only thing I would add…ask your TA or Princess if you can get the same cabin for both cruises?  Makes it a little easier.

Just in case it may be open.  You could look on the website and see what is available

Agree with PacnGoNow. Ask your TA (or Princess if you booked directly ) to see if there is an open cabin in same category that is available for both voyages.  Have them “link” the bookings so Princess easily sees you are on a B2B - doing so will increase the chance that if you are upgraded or moved Princess will assign the same cabin for both voyages.

That is very good news if you can stay on board if you get covid and continue onto your remaining B2B2Bs!  I haven't heard that recently.  We just talked with our doctor and he said that there is no way to avoid getting the new covid as it spreads so easily unless you wear an N95 mask and it is fitted and smell tested.  We were told this by multiple health care people.  So, why do we have to quarantine outside of our rooms?  That is our fear to be honest.  We are doing multiple B2Bs in a suite and do not want to have to move all our stuff and be separated.
