The Ecstasy - Share Your Memories!

Fantasy Class ships! For many this was their introduction into cruising. I had the pleasure of cruising on the original Mardi Gras and the Celebration along with all the Fantasy ships, and we loved when the Ecstasy and Elation came here to Galveston. I've attached a few images to this post, so share yours. The one of my family shows a much younger man from at least fifteen years ago!

On the inaugural sailing there was a meet up with the Fantasy. Ecstasy was blowing the horn but the Fantasy barely eeked out a faint hearted short blast from her horn. Many excited Ecstasy passengers suspected Fantasy was jealous of no longer being the newest ship in the fleet.

Our first time on her, we got upgraded just after sail away to Owners Penthouse suite (for free). Hard to beat that memory.

Not the best shot in the world but here is Ecstasy in I believe May 2016, at the then relatively new Amber Cove. And a shot of the Lido deck one morning of the same cruise.

Great pic of old school midnight buffet.  It’ll never happen today but I wish we could see one of those once a week on 7 day sailings.

Never sailed on her, but did three of her sister's four times, Fascination in 94, Sensation in 96, Imagination in 08 and 11.
