Royal Princess Question

Looking to hear from someone who has recently sailed on the Royal and stayed in an aft suite. I was curious if there is still a soot issue for passengers in aft suites? We stayed in one during the inaugural T/A (2013) and there was a big smokestack soot issue…

Hoping someone responds because I'm on the Royal 9/10 in an aft penthouse suite

Just off Royal Princess Northbound Alaska. Stayed in R731Torino Suite.  Fabulous! We spent all day on the balcony on the Glacier Bay cruising day. Started with room service breakfast and relaxed all day.  The balcony is huge. We only saw  a very very small amount of soot on the chairs one day but otherwise not a problem.  Highly recommend!
