Transfers from SJU to Hotel and then to Terminal

Hello,

We are taking a cruise on the Millennium in Feb 2023, and I was wondering about pre-arranging our transfers.  We (there are 5 of us, arriving around the same time at SJU) are all staying at the Hotel Miramar, then cruising on the Millennium, and would like to set up transfers both from SJU to the Hotel on Thursday, then from the Hotel to the Pan American terminal on Saturday.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks,

Brian

For a party of three or more, would suggest one contacts the Hotel’s Concierge to arrange transport.  It’s what they are there to do, among other things.

Getting a large taxi van just outside the luggage area at SJU couldn't be easier. Their lined up and waiting regardless of arrival times. Pricing is by zones and posted. Very regulated so no worries about getting ripped off. We've done this many times from SJU to our hotel and from hotel to cruise port.

We were there not too long ago and Uber works really well. Airport to Old San Juan was only about $35. No need to prebook and pickup was within about 4 minutes of us confirming the trip in the app.

Usually won't be the most cost effective option and you invariably pay a commission that is baked into the price. I don't disagree that it is a very good solution in some circumstances around the world where logistics are more difficult, but San Juan is a super easy place to navigate around on your own.
