I have a cruise booked for my dh and myself.    a few days after i paid deposit my casino offer changed for a better deal.  can i switch to the better deal and keep the same cruise and room and not lose any deposit money?  It's actually the same exact dean that it is booked under, however i will also get casino cash with my new offer.  my pvp says no, but i thought i could do that a long as it was not after final payment? any insights would be appreciated.

thank you in advance.

Your title asks about switching cabins, but the body says keep the same cabin.

If you can price match depends what rate you booked. The rate I got for dream no changes allowed.

Perhaps you can upgrade for the difference.

My PVP let me make two bookings with a non-refundable deposit WAY ahead of final payment. I can cancel but lose $50 per person ($250 out of $1000) and get the remainder as FCC. So if your better deal is that much better...

With a refundable deposit, you should be able to re-fare for a better promo -- do it all the time on HAL. Of course my HAL PCC would never have let me book nonrefundable without at least mentioning it! Guess they like to sew you in at CCL.

thanks for all of your replies.  I was trying to somehow keep the same cruise date but switch cabins if I had to so that I could book the better casino offer that I received three days after booking this cruise.

I guess I will just keep what I have booked.

Did you find out if there is a cancellation penalty from your PVP?  It might be minimal and then you could just rebook to get the better casino offer and the next effect would be to your benefit.  Just a thought

If you go into your cruise manager, look under Booking and Order details. It will show your invoice, any obc you have, etc. At the bottom left side of the page, click on View Cancellation Details. That will show you what it would cost to cancel. If The offer you got is worth paying that fee, then do it.
