Still need to be proctored?

For the unvax'd..  I understand they have to present a negative test taken within 3 days of sailing.  Do these still have to be proctored?

 

I'm assuming yes but didn't see anything on carnival site except "present a negative test"

Yes. How else would you be able to prove you were the one who took the test?

Same way u can present a positive pregnancy test without being proctored.

An unproctored test is worthless for proof. You could be positive and just bring a test your friend took for you.

Check-in agents don't want to be handed a plastic sandwich bag with two used home covid tests showing negative results.  (it did, and does happen).  These passengers were sent out to get an on-site lab administrated covid test costing $100 each. (plus about 90 minutes of their time).

I saw that.. and although I assumed u would need to have it proctored... for obvious reasons....

But I couldn't find that specific info
