Still need to be proctored?

For the unvax'd..  I understand they have to present a negative test taken within 3 days of sailing.  Do these still have to be proctored?

I'm assuming yes but didn't see anything on carnival site except "present a negative test"

Thanks

"Unvaccinated guests or those who do not provide proof of vaccination must present the results of a negative PCR or antigen test taken within three days of embarkation.

Check-in agents don't want to be handed a plastic sandwich bag with two used home covid tests showing negative results.  (it did, and does happen).  These passengers were sent out to get an on-site lab administrated covid test costing $100 each. (plus about 90 minutes of their time).

This page goes into more details as to the types of tests that are acceptable.
