  1. Or show up after they have boarded...
  2. I found it through a general travel insurance agency website, but it's GeoBlue. I am sure you can find it by Googling.
  3. I have a separate annual travel health policy. It's $250 for both my husband and me.
  4. I think it's new. We saw it on a Conquest journeys cruise last winter. It was the last cruise we took before we reached Diamond level. 😒
  5. I inferred from your post that you were saying that it was okay to leave a scooter in the hall because other people have done it. If I was mistaken, I apologize. I still believe that scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers should be reported to security. If that was done consistently, the problem would probably go away.
  6. Check out this thread: It's going to be just as accurate as the answers specifically to VIsta.
  7. So, because a certain rule isn't enforced 100% of the time on 100% of the ships, it's okay to ignore? The OP was looking for guidance on getting a scooter with her interior cabin. I would never advise anyone to simply disregard a written policy, especially when the safety of other passengers is involved. And I would certainly not be shy about reporting scooters left in the hallway for an extended amount of time to ship security. The first time I saw it, I might give the person a little grace and assume that they had just popped into their cabin for a few minutes, but after that, maybe not.
  8. Yes, you can. Just don't linger in your cabin. Literally drop the bags and leave.
  9. The last time I had this, we were given a choice of either medium rare or medium well. This looks like the medium rare.
  10. Exactly. The OP is willing to destroy this steward's career with exactly zero evidence. SMH
  11. It's fine for that. 🙂 Otherwise, it's akin to the hairdryers attached to the wall in cheap motel rooms, except that it's in the drawer instead, and therefore, even more difficult to use.
  12. So what happens to your private shuttle if you can't get off the ship by 8? Will it wait for you?
  13. I paid $2 US for a token to use the bathroom at a tourist stop in Iceland. Pretty sure the bathrooms are still free on a Carnival ship.
  14. I love Carnival's pillows. I even ordered some off of their website for my house.
  15. Very interesting. I remember my first trip once a Vista class ship, that was a small breakfast buffet, and I didn't discover it until close to the end of the cruise. Can't wait for the reviews!
  16. We were on Venezia a few weeks ago. They were handing out the toiletry bags.
  17. I suppose they don't price match on the ship.
  18. I have posted this multiple times when people have complained about prices on the ship for things like bottled water, cabanas, etc., but I think this is a little different. Just like the "artwork", it's a little more difficult to determine if things like jewelry and purses are a good deal or not. I am not surprised to hear that they are not. Thanks to the OP for sharing this information.
  19. I have been on ships recently where I saw meetups for young adults in the Fun Times. I think they were more designed for the 18-to-20 year crowd (too young to drink), but I am sure they won't mind slightly older people showing up!
  20. School districts have Spring Break this late when Easter has already passed? There are lots of school districts that only have a few weeks of school left in the Spring semester.
  21. We are on the Panorama transpacific from Singapore to LA on October 12 and it includes an overnight stay in Honolulu. It was originally supposed to be a stop in Maui and a stop in Honolulu. but they canceled the Maui stop and replaced it with 2 days in Honolulu.
  22. I don't know how long ago it was that this happened, but scooters left in the hallways are expressly forbidden. It's a safety hazard.
  23. Get a new PVP. Seriously. He or she is not doing their job if that's what they told you to do.
  24. No one is forcing you to stay in New Orleans after you debark. Just book a flight that leave on debarkation day.
