Emerald B756 or B757

My wife and I are looking at booking one these aft balconies and have done some research on them.  It seems there were previous complaints about the vent noise and smell.  However, it appears most of these posts are 5-8 years old.  Most of these ships have gone to dry dock for upgrades since then.  I am wondering if anyone has stayed in either of these to rooms recently, and your thoughts.  We love the aft balconies, but do not want to spend the extra money and have to deal with a nauseous stench.

Thank you in advance.

We were on the CB in B755 and did not have any issues.  The two ships are somewhat identical I believe.   My wife thought she smelled food once, but we spent a good deal of time on our balcony.   You cannot beat the aft view!

I researched a little also and couldn’t find any mire recent reviews.  Which is actually a good thing if no one is complaining. 🤔

You might follow some if the current roll calls to see if anyone is aware of complaints.  We love the Aft facing cabins also.  Haven’t been on the Emerald aft cabins.

We were on the Emerald this last May, in B749. The only issue was the cigarette smoke from the crew smoking on the Promenade deck. It floats up. This is a covid "side effect" as the crew has not yet returned to their own area to smoke, thus, devaluing the aft balconies.
