Rare cruisemom42 Posted August 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2022 Just find a good restaurant and enjoy an authentic Roman dinner. Especially if you're going to be touring all day. You can order several courses each and share. In Rome, you definitely want to try one or more of the essential four pasta dishes that are distinctly Roman: Cacio e pepe, Carbonara, Amatriciana, and Gricia. You will not leave hungry & get to visit some small off the beaten places with amazing food.
schmoopie17 Posted August 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2022 We are signed up for this one in October. We originally signed up for a Sunday night, but after reading reviews that many Rome restaurants are closed on Sundays (including a couple on this tour) we were able to move the reservation to a Monday. The Sunday tour focuses more on street food. https://www.eatingeurope.com/rome/twilight-trastevere/

We're actually staying right in Trastevere for a few days before the cruise so it works out great.
