DMW/LAW Posted August 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Wife and I have been on 18 cruises, but this will be the fist time sailing on Celebrity and we are really looking forward to it. We are sailing on the Millennium, out of San Juan, on 10/15/22. I have a few random questions: A) We booked airfare through Celebrity. Do we have to check-in with the airlines for our boarding passes, or does Celebrity handle that? B) Cruises does not leave San Juan till 8:30 PM. Will we be able to board by noon? Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted August 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Not sure about Celebrity Air, but I suspect you need to check in with the appropriate airline. Cruises from San Juan depart from the PanAm Pier, not Old San Juan. The only time I sailed from San Juan, I believe we were on board by noon, but I couldn't swear to it. That was pre-pandemic. hrhdhd Posted August 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Yes, for the flights you'll get confirmation codes to use to check in directly with the airlines.
jzad Posted August 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2022 Boarding in San Juan will be the same as boarding in any US port. I would suspect you can board anytime starting around 11ish its not dependent on the time you leave. When we left from SJ in April we were on the ship with a drink in hand by 11:05am. You may have to pre-book a check in time in your cruise planner about 45 days out.

And I have experienced guests who arrived earlier than the pre-selected time and Celebrity check-in folks did not have a problem with this.
