Sunrise Riviera vs Main Deck

We are booking and ocean view cabin on Sunrise. Can’t decide between Riviera or Main deck.  Need opinions please

We always choose Riviera when doing an OV.  Nice and quiet with guest cabins above and crew cabins below and closer to the gangway.

Since on the Main the lobby deck is above you, depending on exactly where you are at you could end up with some noise issues above your head and a lot of open deck means potential noise possibly

 

It is always best to try to pick a room with rooms above you and below you if you can which act as buffers.

I actually try to avoid those decks. Considering the location of the room.

We are also Choose OVs over main deck for all the above reasons.

Rivera is the way to go. You barely feel the motion down there. The only other OVs I would stay at would probably be the ones on the Promenade Deck.
