Cabin Assignment

Twice I didn’t get my cabin number until I got to the terminal and the other when I got to the airport and Carnival picked us up and took us to the Hotel. Went from a Cat 4a to a Mini Suite.

 

On Royal, my WiFI wasn’t linking up, turns out I was upgraded to a Balcony Suite so I was trying to activate WIFI with the wrong cabin number.

Yep, can happen anytime between now and when you arrive.  I have had one that I got within just a couple weeks of booking, then a couple others I have gotten closer to cruising (usually within a week or two).  Never had to wait until I showed up at terminal though.

 

Did get a "free" upgrade once while at the terminal to an ocean view from an inside (they told us they had a last minute cancellation) - won't do that again!  Didn't like where they put us once we got on, was above the kitchen and our room smelled like onions and garlic the entire cruise.
