Infinity Luminae

On Infinity Oct 1-8 and wondering how the food and service is at Luminae and Blu?

 

Also, how is Sushi on 5? We were on Apex this April and did not care for Raw on 5 (no comparison to Izumi on RC).

 

Any feedback (good or bad) is appreciated.

I didn’t like raw on 5 at all, but love sushi at 5 on all M class. Have not done infinity since Covid but Luminae is always great.

Just spent a wonderful 14 nights on Infinity!  We ate in Luminae all but 2 nights, when we ate in Tuscan.  We found the food in both Luminae and Tuscan to be great.  You can order off the Luminae, Blu, or the MDR menu as you prefer.  The service was wonderful.  If you see "Nina" in Luminae, tell her hello from Mike and Mary!  Our only criticism is that it did get a bit noisy when large groups were eating together.  Enjoy your cruise - wish we were still onboard.

@MikeMary4449 Thanks for the reply and thoughts, much appreciated. We've enjoyed Luminae on Millie (Blu, too) and Apex so looking forward to doing so on Infinity. We're on Edge next April, as well. 

 

Also, we found the main dining rooms on Apex to be enjoyable and will likely try them on Edge, too. 

 

How was Infinity as far as the suites, good clean condition? Butler accommodating? We're trying to get a recent review on suite 6104 but, so far, no feedback. Any other thoughts would be great (pros and cons)!

Hello again!  We have no specific info re Suite 6104, but as far as we know all the suite carpet has been changed, the towels were new and plush, and thankfully they are still providing Bulgari toiletries!  Of course, the cabins show a bit of wear and tear.  Our Bulter on the starboard side aft was Walter and he is GREAT.  Not sure how many suites he covers.  Emmanuel, our Stateroom Attendant, kept everything spotless.  The Suite Manager and Michael's Club Concierges and Bartenders were very friendly and helpful.

Thanks, and so nice to hear that the suites and, from other reviews, that Infinity has had some updates and is well taken care of (we would expect no less from Celebrity), particularly after some of the issues on the first couple of re-start cruises. Our suite is starboard on 6 mid-ships (elevators are across on port side). If we get Walter and Emmanual (likely not as you were aft) and if Nina is still in Luminae and we spot her, we'll tell them/her hi from you guys.

Just got off Infinity Oct 8 and it was all great. And, we did have Walter! He took great care of us, and I passed along your hellos, he was pleased and says hello back. He said he's scheduled for the Beyond but is not looking forward to it and is working with his scheduler to try and change to Summit, Constellation, or Reflection. Told him we, as well as you guys, are on Reflection Oct 2023 and he would love to be on the same time to take care of us. Super nice guy and so accommodating when you needed him for anything. Our stateroom attendant was Adhy, also great. But I forgot to say hi to Nina as she is still in Luminae, we spoke with her and very nice. We had Armando serving us the entire time and he, too, was great. In fact, all the officers (very visible and were in Michael's Club frequently) and staff were very nice and helpful.
