We received the Zenith Retreat Discount on four upcoming cruises based on the price we paid when we booked. This Discount was not applicable to our one paid-in-full cruise. If you are dealing directly with Celebrity, try calling again and speaking with a different agent. If you booked through a TA, have them call Celebrity again. Good Luck!

FYI: Someone earlier this month posted the current Kid's Menu and we can confirm that the Spaghetti Bolognese is indeed listed as an entrée. Bon Appetit!

While this may be true in your case, in our experience, some TAs offer refundable OBC and some issue non-refundable OBC. @gvgseg should verify with their TA.

@mahdnc Great review so far and looking forward to following along. Enjoy your cruise on the Summit. We did the full transit but in reverse (San Diego to FLL) on the Infinity back in 2017. It was great! I was especially interested to see that you are having dinner at The Strand House in Manhattan Beach after you disembark in Los Angeles. I grew up in Manhattan Beach and lived there for 49 years but have been away for the last 25 years. (Did you live near LAX from 82-83?) Safe travels and have a wonderful trip! We will board her on June 24 in Rotterdam for an 11-night British Isles cruise returning to Amsterdam on July 5. We saw Captain Kirk's Rock Concert on the Reflection last October. It was great! FYI: It is our understanding that, if you want the "remaining $308" as a "rebate check", you need to let your TA know this BEFORE you embark on the cruise. If your gratuities (or any other charges onboard) exceed the $120 of OBC, your credit card on file will be charged, but any amount over the $120 will be offset by the rebate check (money in your pocket) after you return home. If you take the entire $428 as OBC, you MUST use it onboard or you lose it. Hope this wasn't too confusing.

We appreciate you taking the time to do a "Live From" and a "Post-Cruise Review", but suggest that you change your title to 2/17 and 2/25, rather than 3/17 and 3/25, to reflect the true dates of your cruises.

We believe that "one-way between Boston and Bayonne" would be a violation of the PVSA, which says you cannot begin a cruise in one US port and terminate in another US port without docking at a distant foreign port.

We saw the same conflicting info for our upcoming sailing on Reflection. We had our travel agent confirm via an online chat with Celebrity that these amenities ARE included. We printed out a copy of the chat to take with us. You or your travel agent may want to do the same just to be safe. Hope this helps you.

FYI: Last time when we were in FLL we pre-ordered an Uber but got hung up in line for Customs for 30 minutes. Uber driver left 2 minutes before we got outside. We had to order a second Uber, who arrived within 5 minutes, and were charged for BOTH. The second Uber turned out to be half the price of the pre-ordered one! Hope this helps you in the future.

Interesting, pre-Covid Luggage Valet Service was complimentary for upper suites. Post-Covid it was not offered, but happy to hear it is becoming more available again. Thanks for your great review!

We visited Keukenhof Gardens on a turn-around day in April, 2015 with no problem at all. Enjoy the gardens, they are beautiful in the Spring!

What ship have you booked in January, 2025?

Does anyone see a correlation between prices of alcohol rising and the fact that Celebrity is scheduling more Carnival-like 3, 4, 5-night "booze cruises"? Their profit margin is no doubt going down with a younger crowd trying to get "their money's worth" by consuming more alcohol from morning to night.

We had a similar problem with our room safe once. The solution was that it needed a new battery. We told our cabin attendant, who made a call, and it was quickly fixed. Hope this helps. Mike and Mary

Just another hint: While on the Reflection for 24 days last month, I found that I had to order "carrots well done" in order to get them cooked properly! Hope this helps.
