Here are a few pics of the view from my V class balcony on the Rotterdam at deck 5. The lifeboats didn’t really interfere with the view and the space was ample for sitting, though dining on the balcony would be tight. The two cabins in front of mine have more depth since they are in the diagonal part of the superstructure.

Nieuw Statendam V5225 balcony.  Add three more feet for the doorway not included in the photo.
