Is it something you watch on your cabin TV or actually going to your station?  Can't remember. 

Usually just before  leaving port?

On Riviera 12/21 we checked in at our muster station on arrival day and then you just had to watch the video. (Which IIRC you can watch in advance.)

Yes, video only. It doesn't matter if you pre watch the safety video before boarding as your TV in the suite will not function until you rewatch the video on board. Then just go to your muster station and have your sea pass scanned and it's done.
