tro604 Posted September 11, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2022 I cannot recall properly if the Enclave offers an embarkation day discount or if it's better to purchase online ahead of time? I'm on a 14 day cruise from South Hampton to FLL and its $299 USD online. TIA!
CruisinFinsUp Posted September 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2022 I've never seen a discount onboard.
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted September 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2022 I’ve always booked on Embarkation Day, and my recollection is that they may offer a couple’s discount but nothing else. Our cruise is listed as $299 pp, too, and even though we were really wanting the Enclave, at that price, it’s a no for us.
Hello, Newman Posted September 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2022 We signed up for the Enclave package on our recent Alaskan cruise on the Discovery Princess. As we toured the Enclave on embarkation day the staff informed us on Alaskan cruises they are forced to cap the number of guests they sign up for the Enclave as the pool deck is not used as much so they get a high number of passengers looking for the warmth of the Enclave. Then as an additional control of the number of guests using the facility on sea days they asked those who signed up to make reservations. The best we could tell there was really no cap on the number they signed up and there was no turning people away if they used the Enclave at a time other than their reserved time. The thing that really was a downer was a fairly large group of individuals who discovered they could have one of their group sign up for the Enclave who would then let in the rest of the group. It didn't stop us from enjoying the space, it was just much more crowded than any other cruise we've been on.
