Prebooked Excursions

If I prebook an excursion on Princess site, and then cancel the excursion, how long does it take typically take before a credit is received on credit card used to make the booking?

Not trying to be cheeky, but seriously - these days the time-line for refunds is unpredictable.  Before the re-start, I'd say it would be within a week.

I canceled an excursion in June and my CC was credited in 3 days.

I wish they were more clear about the last cancellation date on excursions.  Doesn't it just say 'see the excursion form' onboard.   Can I assume that almost any excursion can be cancelled on embarkation without penalty?   I know certain outside excursion companies have their own requirements, like Helicopter Tours and that kind of thing.   But can any usual Princess excursion be cancelled on embarkation day?

We have always found that any excursion could be cancelled once onboard.  There is a time limit for cancellations, 24 hours or maybe more like 48 hours prior to excursion time.  We cancel asap so the space is available for someone possibly on the waitlist for same excursion.

Thank you!   The only thing for us is, we might forego an excursion, based on availability of the Sanctuary. Which of course, Is booked when you get onboard.
