  1. It is not included as casual dining for plus. It is a pop up and considered Specialty dining. It may be shown like you see it because it does not have its own venue. It shows that way on all ships that offer it. dining-options.pdf
  2. I believe the rule is 6 months from the END of the cruise. See below clipped from Princess FAQ’s Passport validity Many countries require passports be valid for six months after the completion of your travel.
  3. @JamieLogical If you are happy with your room assignment you may want to cancel your bid as you will be moved automatically (unless you will be happier in the room you bid for). You don’t get to refuse an accepted bid.
  4. @IUSteve You said you booked a guaranty cabin, have you even had a cabin assigned yet? All your worry may be for nothing. They could place you in a better place and in a non-accessible cabin (which could be likely). I don’t think anyone will be able to help you change cabins if you don’t even have one yet.
  5. When is your cruise? If it’s after Sept 14th all dining reservations are going to be canceled anyway. Rebooking starts in June. I couldn’t see where you mentioned a date. If your cruise is before then you shouldn’t be having problems, however when Princess starts messing with the app things don’t always go smoothly.
  6. @TRLD This was posted in CanadianBurgers live from in March. It shows the hours.
  7. @Bridget2 You can print one at a kiosk, ask GS to print one or better yet screen print the folio on the app, Why do you need crew running around on the final night delivering paper? Not to mention there are no longer mail boxes outside the door to put it in.
  8. @Mud_Shark Just curious….did you book and dine for the third night during the second 7 day leg?
  9. In my experience your correct muster station does not show up until you board.
  10. What itemized breakdown are you talking about? Is this on your invoice or something you saw on Princess.com. The itemized data list on the princess site always lists the full price of all the benefits had you NOT gotten the plus. It is not what you actually paid. Is this what you mean?
  11. Yes. Google Kaiser senior advantage travel insurance. There is a whole brochure and FAQ’s available.
  12. No planks and steamers pop ups on the Ruby.
  13. If you are looking to make reservations you can’t. There are no reservations for casual dining. Walk up only.
  14. It’s possible that you may be conflating two different dining with cover charges. There is “casual” dining that incurs a $14.99 cover for a 3 course meal and “speciality” dining that has a higher cost but not necessarily limited in the course selection. The chart attached may help. The plus fare package includes 2 free casual meals and the premier fare is unlimited casual and 2 free specialty meals. dining-options 2.pdf
  15. Bottomline technologies will be the return address and it usually takes 6-8 weeks.
  16. The Coral Princess does have bump outs apparently. They do not show on the deck plans as they do with other ships.
  17. There is no pool in the paid area of the sanctuary. The retreat pool is adults only and is first come first serve daily as with other locations on the ship. No need to hurry on board for this.
  18. This thread has a quick video of a reserve cabana mini suite. No curtain. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2996545-live-from-sun-princess-9-march-10-day-barcelona-rome/?do=getNewComment
  19. @that You can add them during the DMW set up. I have reserve class dining so the steps may be a little different for you. I went to “book dining”, then chose the little heart to view my current reservation, then chose a date and selected “add reservation”, chose a speciality restaurant then scrolled down to “guests” and clicked on that. On the resulting page there is a little man icon with a + sign next to it in the upper right corner. Select that then add your shipmates booking number. I believe I’ve read if you just want to add them in the locate feature it needs to be done onboard (new app).
  20. I believe you get one deferral per summons (i.e. you can’t defer your deferral 😉).
  21. Yes because they add the 18% service charge. It’s now added to all dining you pay for.
  22. Both the Caymus and the Silverado are still listed on the dining options PDF on the website but people are reporting that they have only seen the more costly one offered. It may be the lower cost one is not offered that often. 🤷‍♀️
  23. Not all the casual restaurants have small plates. The salty dog gastropub does but the Alfredos prix fix is a lot of food. You need to look at the menus to see what three course for each restaurant includes.
  24. We were invited to MTP twice, in AK when we had only about 175 days (2014 - cocktail party) and in early 2020 13 day around New Zealand with 320 days (lunch). Surprised the heck out of us both times!
