Solo Travel Surcharge on Celebrity

As Nutsaboutgolf said above, pricing and promotions can and do change at any time.  It's the same as airfares.  They fluctuate all the time.

 

Celebrity dropped the single supplement (I noticed when a friend didn't have to pay for the single supplement last month).  But know Celebrity could change that promotion at any point in time.

 

Having a reliable travel agent that will watch for these types of promotions is very valuable.

It looks like the Solo Promo they have had since June has expired or reached capacity limits on some of the cruises I did a mock booking on. I'm glad I booked my cruise on Beyond when it was available. The same cruise if I booked it now would cost nearly three times as much.

 

I really hope they bring the promo back next year.

It looks like the only solo fare left that is a bargain is Reflection's Transatlantic cruise 10/31 Spain to FLL. Just don't book All Included, it is 2 - 3 times the cruise only fare. Absurd.

I am bummed they abruptly ended this promo as I had two friends that were about to book as solos for a cruise in January. Now the prices are way out of reach.

I would not rely on a TA for drops in pricing or you could lose out. They are too busy to keep track on a regular basis. I check several times a day as I have found in the past prices can fluctuate like the stock market. Always found deals that way.
