ms Noordam in Juneau September 22, 2022

Noordam is paying her last visit to Juneau this season on Thursday.  She will be heading to San Diego and then to Australia.  She will be at the CT dock from 9am to 10pm.

 

The only other cruise ship in port is Norwegian Jewel at the AJ dock (11am-9pm).

 

Unfortunately, there is a 90% chance of rain on Thursday with a quarter of an inch predicted.  The high will be 52F/11C and the low 46F/8C.  Sunrise is at 6:43am and sunset at 6:56pm.

This will be fun trying to figure out when Noordam will arrive on cam. 

 

8 am AST usually means arriving between 6 and 7 am AST. 10 am AST usually means close to on time [the pattern so far this season]. 9 am AST is halfway between - do I look early, early or focus on the announced ETA?  🤔 Plus it's a one-off instead of a routine arrival.

 

At least I won't have to remember for the following week.

Noordam is extremely early for her 9 am AST  --  ETA.. She is just outside the harbor - already in view.

No panning, the picture is crystal clear. With her the only one present of 2 ships [ the other due 11 am AST] there are no blockers - just distance from cam. 

 

It is 06:47 am AST and she is already in the basin.

Noordam is parked, I can't see if she is tied up - too far away. I hope the day stays nice for a long time, maybe the rain will forget to come. 😂 - Sorry, this IS Juneau.

 

Zuidy tomorrow - normal afternoon time frame.

@Scrapnana Nevermind, I just skipped a whole weekend. I hope Fiona's not still around 9-10 days from now.
