We were just at JFK and they have removed seating because of covid

Corby114 Posted September 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2022 I would reserve a hotel room for the night and cancel the NCL transfer in the morning. Why would you want to spend the night in the terminal sitting on an uncomfortable chair. Not a great way to start your cruise vacation!
JohninDC Posted September 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2022 Lots of hotels in the MIA area (Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon and La Quinta East are two economical options often suggested on these boards) - doubt they will be running shuttles late enough for you, but if not, a taxi will be cheap. Ask for a late check-out, sleep, shower and get to the port about lunchtime and you will feel much better than sleeping at the MIA airport. Cab to POM the next day will run about $30+tip (for the cab, not per person like the cruise line transfer fee).
Flymia Posted September 23, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2022 There are so many easily located hotels, even one inside the airport. You want to sit on chair for 8-hours? The airport is a 20-min drive to the port. You can easily do a rideshare that morning at whatever time you like.
