How far from Airport to Cruise Term in Jacksonville?

How far and how long would it take us arriving around 11:30am on a Thursday to get from the airport to the cruise terminal in Jacksonville?

 

Also how far is the pier from the DT Hyatt?

Hi, the airport is 12 miles from the port.

 

You are going further away to the Hyatt...it is downtown which is

south of both port and airport. Probably a 15-20 minute drive to the hotel

from the airport...another 15-20 minutes back north to the port.

I assume cab is best and fastest way to get to the port since we are arriving same day and will carry our luggage on the plane with us.

 

We are looking for somewhere to stay for one night post cruise and it looks like the Hyatt DT probably has quite a bit to do near it. Does that seem right? Or would you recommend somewhere else?
