I submitted a request for shareholder OBC on 8/23 and just received the response:

I booked the Plan Now, Sail Later rate which included OBC. When I do a mock booking for the same cruise, all of the rates include some sort of promotion or discount (room upgrade, OBC, reduced deposit).  Does anyone know which rates would qualify so I know for future reference?

resubmit it.  I had this before, resubmitted and it was approved.  I only really book casino offers anymore.   Have not had a cruise yet where it was not applied in the last 20+ cruises on CCL.

The way it is now, if you are not paying full rate for the cruise (I don't think there is an option for this), then you don't get the OBC. I can see why they are doing this and agree as a shareholder. I think they need to raise the number of shares from 100 to 2,000 at the current price. As a shareholder, I am 100% against giving any shareholder an unlimited 14% dividend for every cruise they go on. I don't think people spending $700 should be able to get $100 OBC.

And what kind of reaction would that get from the vast majority of stockholders who bought the stock for way more than that pre-Covid?

I spent well over $700 and still want my OBC. What do you think they should do? Take the cost that was paid for each share and calculate  how much OBC one should get?
