Gratuities for Solo Cruiser

A friend is booking solo in a Balcony cabin.

Gratuities are described as $16 per day per person.

I just wanted to confirm that she won't pay for gratuities for a second person since she is solo even though she is paying a cruise fare for double.

Lol tell her she just has to get to 340 loyalty pts and then will get a special solo discount.

She's not required to pay gratuities at all if she chooses not to.
