dmcfad2 Posted September 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2022 We are new to Princess. We will be sailing on the Crown in January. I am making my dinner reservations. Since there are two dining rooms offered, I wondered what the difference is and if you have a preference and, if so, why? Thanks for any info. Rare 1025cruise Posted September 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2022 It used to be traditional versus MTD. Now with Medallion, really no difference.
Kay S Posted September 28, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2022 Same decor, same menu. Location is the only variable.
Rare ghgeckos Posted September 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2022 We prefer the De Vinci due to it’s location midship. We enjoy a pre dinner class of wine and then bring our fresh glass of wine 🍷 into the dining room with us, this saves the wait staff a trip.

I think it’s really dependent on convenience now. We pick midship if our cabin is forward or Aft DR if our cabin is Aft. Menus are the same.
dmcfad2 Posted September 29, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted September 29, 2022 Okay, thanks everyone. I thought location was the only difference, but I wasn’t sure. I picked Da Vinci. 👍
