Da Vinci or Botticelli Dining Room?

We are new to Princess. We will be sailing on the Crown in January. I am making my dinner reservations. Since there are two dining rooms offered, I wondered what the difference is and if you have a preference and, if so, why? Thanks for any info.

It used to be traditional versus MTD. Now with Medallion, really no difference.

Same decor, same menu.  Location is the only variable.

We prefer the De Vinci due to it’s location midship. We enjoy a pre dinner class of wine and then bring our fresh glass of wine 🍷 into the dining room with us, this saves the wait staff a trip.

I think it’s really dependent on convenience now. We pick midship if our cabin is forward or Aft DR if our cabin is Aft.  Menus are the same.

Okay, thanks everyone. I thought location was the only difference, but I wasn’t sure. I picked Da Vinci. 👍
