Well the plan was to go to the aquarium but it’s closed for maintenance so forming a new plan now.

Decided to take the old town trolley tour. 90 minute tour of all of Key West with 13 stops. I found a kid Florida free coupon for a bunch of stuff last week so the kids were free. 2 adults price was $125.

The shipwreck museum was a blast (the guy who was doing the tour made it from good to almost great) and I believe they have an outside staircase that at the top is very picturesque.

Ok I’ll catch y’all up. I was trying to get as much of the information from the tour as possible. Here’s the map of the trolley tour.

We got our tickets and went to get in line at stop 1. The line was at least 7 full trolleys deep. So we walked to stop 3 to wait. After a hot 20 minute wait and $15 in drinks, we got on a trolley. And went up Duvall St. Lots of information. If it’s your first time to Key West, it’s a good way to see it and learn. I’m glad the kids were free though.

Down and around Smather Beach and the East Martello Fort. The fishing pier and Casa Marina Resort.

We got off at stop 11… Southern Most stop. I wanted to eat at the Lobster Shack but wah wah closed on Mondays. I’ll be back on a Thursday next month. I’ll have to try it then.

We walked down and stood in line to get the required buoy picture.

Walked around and lots of clean up going on from Ian. The kids had terrible Snowcones. The syrup was bitter. I tasted the lime and nothing about it was lime. 😬

We like the Southernmost Beach Cafe.  And if the kids need sugar we found Key Lime jelly beans.

Then we got back on the trolley and finished the loop.

Would we do the trolley again? No, but it was good for first timers.

Everyone was pretty hungry, so we walked over to Conch Republic. The pain killer is good.

I’m sweating eating this soup… but it is SO good. I love soups and this is probably the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had.

Hi Megan, please let me rephrase my questions about your cabin from yesterday.  (I would never want to jeopardize your safety and didn’t realize my asking what cabin you were in would be taken as such.  I tried to private message you but that function has been disabled.). We will be in cabins 2428 and 2432 on Dream next March.  If you get a chance, will you give me any info you might have concerning these two cabins? We are frequent cruisers (25+) but usually on a different cruise line, and usually in a balcony cabin. Trying to figure out if I’ve done the right thing booking this class cabin on the Dream.  Thank you in advance for any guidance you can give me on ocean view cabins.
