Question for those that have ended their cruise in Fort Lauderdale and getting to the FLL airport

Hi folks, I thought of a question for those of you that have ended a Viking cruise in Fort Lauderdale; We have a 9:30am flight the day we disembark.Originally our flight was 10:16am but Delta changed it to 9:30am. Will we have any issue getting off the ship and to the FLL airport in time?

We need more information.

 

Usually it says on your Viking invoice what the earliest time is you can book a flight. What does it say on your Viking invoice?

 

What time is your ship scheduled to arrive in Ft. L. This is also on your invoice, if it isn't on MVJ.

In addition to Peregrina's good advice it will depend when the ship is cleared by customs and immigration.  Usually goes quickly but.....  It is a short cab ride to your gates and security.

Thanks for the replies folks, My Viking TA informed me not to have a flight before 11:00am so I went to the Delta sight and changed my flight to later in the day. It worked out nicely too because I was able to change to a non stop flight that didn't show when I originally booked.

But can we say the same about getting through security these days? Have those problems started to clear up?
