Latitude reward discounts

When your Latitude rewards entitle you to a discount (onboard shops, photos, spa, excursions, etc.) by paying for your purchase with your room card, does it automatically give you the discount, or do you have to remember what discounts you are entitled to and then ask for it each time?

it is already in the system and should pop up automatically on the register system . for shore excursions you will need to ask for it as for some odd annoying reason they don't do it automatically.

I usually remind them.  And you do need to inform them when making shore excursion reservations

Just so you know, the discount in the onboard shops is not a discount on everything, it only applies to NCL branded merchandise.
