Loyalty Points

Do you get loyalty points for  purchases made with OBC?  What is everyone seeing as the current turnaround time for point distribution?

Maybe we didn’t understand the question. Or maybe I didn’t. I thought you get points for sailing and it’s based on the category you book. Are there other ways to earn points?

Yes.

Onboard services prepaid before the cruise: you earn 100 points every 150 €/$ on expenses made before the cruise on MSC packages and services included in the cruise booked*. 

Onboard expenses: you earn 100 points for every 150 €/$ spent on board, excluding casino expenses. Points for onboard expenses (including pre-boarding purchased shipboard credit) will only be assigned to the MSC Voyagers Club cardholder making the final payment.
*For currencies other than € euro, the currency conversion on purchase day will apply.

The points allocation is confusing. I paid for cruise and purchased excursions and packages in advance. I got 1000 points after cruise and randomly the second partner got 1100 points 🤔. For smaller amounts it's not worth stressing over

I have sailed.  I did not get points for my spending with OBC.  I also did not get awarded the right amount of points.  I have emailed a request to fix it.  We all know how that will go

Just reviewed my VC account.

The only time my VC points were posted correctly was first cruise.

7 night in YC posted 1,500 points.

 

Have done 3 more and none of those are correct. 

Just returned from 12 night cruise in YC and received 1,500 points.

Also, this was booked during double points promo.

 

Our two cruises last fall were B2 B . Posted as a 15 night cruise in YC.

. 1500 points awarded for that.

Also, was double point promo at time booked.

After emailing several times, gave up . 

I guess I should not be surprised that MSC still cannot get it right.
