I understand what you meant to say.  There are restrictions to prevent insects and stuff.  For example plants and many food items are not allowed into Canada.  Almost nothing flower, fruit or plants into Australia.   Some stuff is strange such as potatoes cannot generally be transported without treatment between some provinces in Canada.  Same with firewood.
