Which Ship Should I Choose?

I am trying to select a Western Caribbean cruise for 2024 as my vacation time is used up until then. I want to visit Roatan in either April or May and have narrowed down my choices to either Wonder of the Seas or the Norwegian Breakaway. I know Wonder is the bigger ship, but I'm sailing on her in January. Should I sail on her again, or try out the Breakaway? Reasons?

If you're already sailing on Wonder, i'd think getting a chance to sail on Breakaway might be an interesting experience. I guess it would also depend on if you're trying to gain status with one line over the other (RCL, in this case) and also what ports each ship is visiting.

 

To me, i look for ports before I look at ship, but that's not how everyone does it.

It would be nice to know ports, time in ports, etc before we can help you.

All else being equal, especially the itinerary, I say try something new.  Give the Breakaway a shot.  I haven't been on those 2 ships, but I've cruised both ship classes.  I really enjoyed both.

Sorry, I should have mentioned what ports each are visiting.

 

Wonder is hitting Perfect Day, Cozumel, Roatan, and Costa Maya.

 

The Breakaway is hitting Roatan, Harvest Caye, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.

Both ship are great. Either one will be a great choice. I would go to Mr. Sancho's in Cozumel.
