Midwest Sunseeker Posted October 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Our flight gets in Saturday 8am, the day before our cruise. We are looking for a hotel in the FLL area that will allow us to add on a early morning stay to our hotel stay. We would like to enjoy the pool and hotel room with food options onsite or nearby. Thank you for your help and information.
CruiserBruce Posted October 16, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Just like the three recent threads just below, early check in is ALWAYS a facet of availability. If you are going at peak cruising time, the hotels will be turning over rooms at a very high volume. So early check in can never be guaranteed.
sandiego1 Posted October 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2022 We took the red eye from SAN to FLL once before a cruise (no choice because of work commitments). We booked a hotel for the night before. We called the hotel to let them know we weren’t going to check in until 6AM and to not mark our room as a no-show and/or give it away. We arrived the morning of our cruise, had breakfast at the hotel, and then slept for 5 or 6 hrs. Showered and Ubered to the port. It worked out perfectly
nhraformula00 Posted October 17, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2022 We have always got in early at Hyatt Place convention center on se 10 th. street. They will give you a room as soon as they are available, or will hold your luggage for you. Last month after our cruise we were in a room by 10am and they did not charge us extra. This was 2 days before Hurricane Ian hit also.
