Watching Baseball Playoffs On Paradise

I'll be on the 10/22 sailing of Carnival Paradise. Will there be anywhere on the ship to watch the MLB Playoffs?

Your best bet would be the Sports Bar, but it depends on who's televising the games.  It's been mentioned that Carnival has a contract with ESPN, so if it's one of the ESPN networks you might be in luck.

TBS and Fox Sports in this case, at least in the U.S.

Have not been on Paradise, but on other Fantasy class ships they'd play ESPN on the TV outside of the coffee bar and on the TVs in the casino. There is no sports bar on Fantasy class.

we were on the Paradise a lil while back and i dont recall anywhere else on board that would have it.

Would not hold my breath for Fox or TBS on a Carnival ship.

What is the bar near the back, right in froint of the Karaokee/Comedy lounge?

Used to be where I went to smoke my cigars and they always had sports going 24/7 on like 8 TVs on the walls.

Mostly NFL for the US cruisers and soccer for the crew.

 

Never saw Basketball, baseball or hockey on a Carnival ship.

If the games are on a Fox affiliate they will not be televised anywhere on the ship. I was on the Panorama last week and could not watch the Dodger/Padre games, maybe that was a blessing, lol! We had the premium WIFI package and my daughter was able to stream the games on her IPad through the Fox Sports App. I think you need some sort of cable/satellite subscription  to sign in to watch live but the App is free.

Wow I'm surprised Carnival's wifi was good enough to be able to stream video. That's good to know!
