Uber use in USA

Hi there, I am considering Uber to travel from Miami airport down to Port Everglades.

Have any UK travellers used the UK app and credit card in the USA at all?

I have used Uber all over the world including the US (Seattle in 2021 last). I have never had a problem using the UK app and UK linked credit card.
The only issue I have had is the push messages and emails in Portuguese since I used it a lot in Brazil in 2019 which Uber are unable to solve.

No problem at all. Obviously your cc will be charged in USD, so ideally you should use a card that does not charge for foreign transactions.

Yes, I've used my Uber account in Miami. Before I travelled I added my fee free credit card to my account to avoid conversion fees. No problems using it at all.
