Balcony Cabin 9391 on Carnival Horizon, category 8E (*****)

 

If I'm reading the cabin description on ***** correctly, it doesn't say anything about a mini-fridge, but this cabin has a "balcony bathroom with shower".  I have never thought about placing the bathroom on the balcony before, adds a lot more excitement potential to the locals when we visit port.

We were just on the Horizon two weeks ago.  I think every room likely gets a mini-fridge; we had a Havana patio room. 

The mini-fridges work best if you "gap" the cabinet door open a bit so it's not "stewing in its own juices," i.e., trying to cool in an unvented, warm environment.  We used a washcloth to "jam" the door open...just a little, not too much, but it did the job.

All of the Conquest class, Dream class, Vista class, Excel class Spirit class and the two remaining Fantasy class have a fridge in every cabin.  Not sure if the Sunshine, Sunrise and Radiance got them added completely.  Splendor also has fridges.  EM
