Cabin location recommendation for Transatlantic?

Hello Sailors -

New to Virgin but experienced cruisers.  We are looking at a TA on Scarlet Lady.

Generally we are open to all options on rooms - from interior to mini-suites - and locations.   However on TA's we like to be middle/middle.  Mid-ship vertically and horizontally to the best we can manage.  And, we look for decks with cabins above and below us.

With that in mind, do you think it is reasonable for us to consider a Central Sea Terrace on Deck 10?

We are aware that there are larger cabins aft and forward.

Thanks !

We were on 8, close to the aft stairs and 99% of the time couldn't tell if the ship was moving or not, even when using thrusters to push away from the dock.

We're booked for next October's TA on the Valiant, and will be in the same general area.

The cabins are very quiet, even when music is playing in a nearby venue, we never heard it in our cabin.

I don't think you'll have any problem at all on 10 mid.

I assume you're looking at the April 2024 Scarlet Lady TA to the Med while it looks like the Valiant will remain in Miami.

Central Sea Terrace should be fine, just avoid Deck 14, that's directly below the pool and the gym. I don't really think there's a bad spot on the ship to be honest, the balconies and hammocks are lovely. There are certain cabins up near the front that don't have a hammock due to the design of the ship, but central should be fine.
