I thought Princess Plus package prices were high until I found out about Cabo

I won't purchase the princess plus package, because we are not alcohol drinkers

I was always trying to justify the price.

My brother had a time share in Cabo for years and it finally ended.  He is now going to Cabo and staying with friends.  The Resort

offers a food/beverage all you can eat and the cost is $210 a day per person.   Yes $210

who can eat and drink that much to justify that ??

You're too focused on alcohol. If the $210 includes all food of course you can make that work.   What kind of food?  Buffets?  Fine dining?  What are the ala carte prices?

Probably includes weed and blow too.  It is Mexico, after all.😈

Roxie, for me the Princess Plus does not pencil out.  $14.50 tips, $5 internet (elite discount), leaves $30 a day to cover.  I pay $11.80 per day for soda package.  So unless I buy $20 per day coffee and booze, the “plus” package doesn’t work out.

$210 per day is outrageous, IMHO.

The plus package works for us, even with hubs rarely drinking booze.

At full price for a single person it breaks down like this

$70.89 (booze package)

$15   (grats)

$10 (internet)

$95.89

Now the second person will pay $15 per day in grats for a grand total of $110.89.

The price for 2 people is $100 per day.  So even if one person only drinks what's included in the cruise fare (coffee, tea, lemonade etc).  Add a couple of sodas or specialty coffees and the price is more than worth it to me, just to not worry about having a bill at the end.

AND with the plus package, all drinks can be delivered to your room.  No room service charge, no added grat (unless you chose to).  That's gotta be worth a couple of dollars!  Free delivery, day or night, 24 hours.  I'll take it!

Now I wish carnival would offer some sort of package too, but that's a discussion for another board.

I am cruising in June on an 11 night Alaska trip.  The plus came out to being only 47 cents more expensive than getting the internet, gratuities, coffee and soda package.  I don't ever get.an alcohol package when I cruise, but get free drinks in the casino.  Plus also includes bottled water which I also usually get in the casino.  I also got 200$ OBC with plus.  So it ended up being a better deal.
