Shareholders OBC & Casino Rates

I booked on a casino rate through my Princess vacation planner. The rate was heavily discounted but not free. This is my first time sailing with a casino reference promo.

I have 100 shares of CCL. While getting the paperwork together to submit for the OBC I noticed some wording about not being valid for discounted fares including TA fares, etc.

Sounds like I can’t get my OBC for this cruise.

Anybody have experience with this and can confirm whether or not I can get the shareholder credit?

I also booked on a discounted casino rate and also have 100 hares of CCL.   I submitted my request for the OBC and was notified shortly thereafter that it was processed and applied to the cruise.

Send in the request and see what happens.

I am guessing there are two types of Casino cruises- One is booking with casino discount, around 30% and the other is "Casino cruise" offering some level of stateroom (inside to balcony are the ones I have gotten). The Casino cruise is not a free cruise as the difference is paid by Princess Players Club. The other is just a discount given to you by Princess-I have used both and gotten full CCL benefits and military on each.

All 3 of my 2023 princess cruises are casino rates or some kind of dramatic discount.

I always get my carnival stock credit on princess.

That said, all 3 of my 2023 carnival cruises are casino rates and I am always denied stock credit.

Weird how they're owned by the same company.

what is the phone number to call for casino rates? My friend's mom spends thousands in Princess casinos, but never once got an offer.

Check online now is the easiest way to see if you have offers. Princess.com and log in.

The casino dept is a S$&t Show currently, I wouldn't put anyone through that hell.

where online? I am sure she would have seen it by now if it were in her account.

I don't see anything in my own account, but then - I don't go to the casino. But not even a section where I would be looking?

In your personalizer under OBC. If a comped cruise exists that shoes as $0 when you search cruises through the main .com

I may not understand this as well as you do.... The personalizer will only show something if you have a booked cruise. If there is no booked cruise, it shows nothing. How does one see what's available to book with casino rates? Is there a phone number or a site? Where does one see the offers for cruises not yet booked? Do I need to look through ALL the cruises to see if one comes up at zero?

Your personalizer under OBC lists all your available offers and the offer codes along with what the offer is for. (Comp, OBC)

You normally will get an email or a card in the mail that includes a QR code or locations the cruises available to.
The phone number to call is

888-772-6697

but wait times are in excess of 4 hours and it’s a call center in the Philippines

The easiest way right now is that all cruises available at the comp rate will show as $0
