Did not get back to the ship till about 7PM and still had to pack up all the stuff for disembarkation.  This was a rough schedule!

I did not take NCL transfer to airport $75.00.  I took the shuttle bus to the train 3 Euro then bought a train ticket to the airport for 11 Euro.  Beware of the guys offer to help with your luggage… they will come for your luggage and I just tell them NO and slap their hand when they touch my stuff.  They will want a TIP!

Day 8

 

I am staying at the airport hotel because I don’t want to deal with the shuttle the next morning.  I took the express train back to Rome to explore today $14.00 each way!  Taxi 50 Euro each way.  I am going to hit all the stops I can today!

Rome on my own!  If you can I highly recommend staying an extra day to explore Rome.  It is a beautiful city!

What a trip… I am ready to go back home and recover for my next one!  European cruises for me is all about exploring and discovering… Caribbean cruises are meant for relaxation 😝
