smokeybandit Posted November 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2022 However if your cruise has a stop in Honduras, Haiti or Colombia, you still need a test for unvaxxed 12+ https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/will-i-have-to-take-a-test-before-i-cruise
j4lambert Posted November 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2022 This is a bad idea to remove testing for unvaccinated passengers as this will increase the likelihood of cruise outbreaks. 1

Why? I have several family members who tested positive within the last 2 weeks, all vaccinated. My husband had 9 coworkers all test positive last month, all vaccinated. One of those coworkers said he felt like he just had a cold, so he came to work & he spread covid!! So we tested... We were NEGATIVE & not vaccinated. My husband just cruised two weeks ago & tested before hand, negative. Three members got of the same ship & tested positive, my husband didn't hang out with his inlaws (lol), he tested before returning to work, negative. The days of testing are over. Getting the vaccine doesn't prevent covid. 4

There were hardly any outbreaks at the peak of omicron. There certainly won't be now.

There's little evidence of that in the Omicron era, especially for those under 65.

Disagree, but there's no point in trying to argue the issue. 2
