Im getting worried. Disembarkation has come to a stop and nobody from Royal can really give me any reassurance that the transfer will wait for me. Maybe I should have planned to be out early and wait around outside.

Ok I made it. Still waiting on four so at least i am not holding up progress here. The issue is they are not using facial recognition. That is such a game changer at speeding up the process.

That's not the end of the tech trouble. Just heard the power went out at terminal 5 so to expect embarkation to be a mess when we get there. They are not even sure if it has come back online yet.

Shuttle is here and we are on the move.

Slight delay because the driver was taking us to the wrong Place. When he missed the turn we asked where he was going and we got turned back around.

 

Still here with time to spare. No line so power must have got restored quickly and just waiting on boarding to start now.

Boarding began at 1058. 

 

I'm all mustered and dining reservations are taken care of.

 

No dining packages this cruise because of Thanksgiving pricing so I expect the dining room to be a madhouse. I hope to be proven wrong.

 

I'm now relaxing in the library with a couple dogs and drink.

Another great meal at Jamie's. I'm heading to the gym now where I will need to buckle into the treadmill. The ship is being blown around pretty good in the wind.

It's an early night for me tonight. All the excitement of the last few days have definitely caught up to me and I need some rest.

 

It's been two whole days but tomorrow I will be returning to coco cay.

You had me gasping and wishing I had a few more choices of reaction emojis when you said you might have to strap yourself to the treadmill in the gym! 😱🤪, maybe even 🤮 would have seemed appropriate! I think I would have been running away from the treadmill under those conditions! 

 

This sand sculpture was in what looks to be the same place on Coco Cay  when we were there in early December of last year as the one you posted earlier. I’m guessing by the looks of the sand sculpture you saw that it was probably done by the same artist as this one. The design style looks similar to me.

Good morning from coco cay.

 

I wish I could say I was well rested but I didn't sleep well last night. I'm not sure if it's the pillows (way too firm) or the large dinner or maybe both that is to blame.

 

Need to send out laundry then I'll make my way into the island.

It was a wild ride last night. I usually look at my phone while I'm working out, but I had to keep both hands on the machine for balance 🤣.

I had smoked salmon on croissant yesterday waiting to disembark indy and it was amazing. This one was not.

At captain Jack's just in time for the singers set to end lol. Think they are about to do the pirate show.

 

Playing musical chairs while the sun chases me around while enjoying a pina colada. I'll admit I committed a party foul, I dumped most the liquor out. They don't play around with their drinks here - very strong.

I think Freedom is jealous that I did not include her in my tour around the Florida short cruise circuit. She keeps following me everywhere I go.

 

 

Wildlife has been spotted.

 

 

Changed things up from my buffet routine and went to snack shack today for a shack burger and shack chicken sandwich.

Back in the room now. It is approximately 17 thousand degrees outside so I called it a little early.

 

I think once I cool off I'm going to try out the casino since I think it is open in coco cay.

The casino was open. But I should have stayed away. I was still up for the trip even after losing a little on indy. 

 

After the bloodbath I took this afternoon it will take a miracle to get back into the positive.

 

I scheduled dinner at 8. That was the earliest option other than 5:30. I figured I would be too full from coco cay to eat that early. I wad wrong but I shall hold out.

 

Gonna run to the loyalty desk because just like last cruise on here I did not get my bottle of champagne. I let it go last time, but now I don't think it was a mistake.
