link99 Posted November 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2022 Flying in same day. Is there a Duty free shop with wine at the airport or anywhere between there and ship. Or is best option just to purchase at a local store.

Bajan local shops will legally charge tax plus VAT @ 17.5%. Failing that, board the ship, drop off hand luggage, walk to Port Duty Free carrying one’s ship keycard to show on any purchases.

Aplmac Posted February 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2023 There is also Wine World in the Rockley area of the South coast. They have everything! Tell your driver it's near Bubba's and Lewis Drug Mart - he'll know

Do not like to pay VAT unless we have to.Then again Duty Free at airport could be same price even without paying VAT.

Not knowing one’s wine tastes and acceptable price point, suggest one does a dummy order. Browse the online store, placing selections into basket, then checking out, but stop prior to pay. The final basket will show tax paid and VAT due, one can then successfully price compare. 2 Bajan dollars equal 1 US Dollar. https://www.wineworldinc.com
