Heard terrible things about the Emerald Princess

From friends just back from a cruise in Mexico.  Many people aboard had Covid, and our friends caught the virus the day prior to disembarking. Their room thermostat did not work and the room was 60 F, and many public toilets on the ship were not working.  We are going on a month-long cruise on this same ship on December 2 and are, of course, very apprehensive. How can one find out if these problems are being addressed before getting aboard?

Any location with a lot of people in enclosed area will have danger of covid. We caught covid on a ship in Alaska and my sisters entire family caught it in Disney World some for the 2nd time and yes we all wear masks in elevators and rest rooms

Emerald Princess has just completed a 10 day cruise in Europe. Prior to that it was in dry dock for two weeks and prior to that has been in Europe.

I have just been on the last cruise in Europe which finished on 7 th Nov and had a great time

Are you sure your friends were on Emerald as it has been in Europe since April?

The Emerald is in Europe, and has been for the summer doing British cruises.  What ship were your friends on?
