Reached out to X on twitter and they surprisingly answered quickly.  The good news is they did meet their most recently published timeline:

Star Link is very good until you are not in a area covered by the satellite.  The internet on our Beyond TA once we left the Azores was terrible.  One whole day keeping a connection for long enough to book a hotel was not possible.  The Retreat Concierge couldn’t get a good connection and at the iLounge had about 40 people in line all afternoon.  This was 1 day away from Cape Liberty.

I'm glad to hear that!

 I will be on Eclipse Nov. 27 till Dec. 20th.

 I will be interested to see if it works crossing the Tasman Sea and north of Australia around Figi and New Caledonia.😎

We are currently on Eclipse, and the internet has been great all trip except for one six hour period when the cruise director made an announcement that we were not in reach of any of Musk's satellites.

What happens when that happens -- does it failover to the old satellite system they had before Starlink, or just goes into an outage state?
