There has been a 15% increase in active cases and a doubling in the number of Covid-19 patients in hospital. The 4th wave has begun, so face masks are to be worn on public transport and healthcare settings from tomorrow, Friday, 11th November, 2022.

Incorrect, the new system provides recommendations and are not enforceable unless a mandate is declared by the chief health officer.

Yes you are correct.  It is strongly recommended, not a legal requirement.

However, as a Queenslander, if someone strongly advises me not to swim because there are jellyfish in the water, I'd choose not to swim.
