Pre-cruise hotel stay include dinner?

Hello! A question from a Seabourn newbie.

When the first day of the itinerary is an overnight hotel stay, does it usually include dinner and/or breakfast? FYI, it's the Jan. 3 Antarctica cruise on Venture. We'll be staying at Alvear Icon Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Just wondering if I need to research the restaurants in the area or not.

Thank you!

So has the Alvear palace changed it’s name to alvear icon?

No, the Alvear Icon is a modern hotel in the Puerto Madero area of Buenos Aires. There are many good restaurants within walking distance of the Alvear Icon and it's about a 20 minute walk to Casa Rosada & Plaza de Mayo.

If you happen to be in the Recoleta area, Afternoon Tea at the Alvear Palace (about $(US)50/pp) makes a very nice break from sightseeing.image.thumb.jpeg.f37638a41c061537d7d300af2ae6d7ec.jpeg
